Monica Maat

As part of "The Year of Lelystad Water," a group of artists under the name KUP 11 [Kunst uit de Polder 2011] is exhibiting works on the theme of water at various locations and events throughout 2011. As an exception, Monica presents a non-geometric triptych on this theme. The triptych is a compilation of images captured under various weather conditions during car rides along the dike from Lelystad to Enkhuizen, where a bird island lies in the Markermeer and where a life of its own unfolds in complete tranquility.
