Table with tabernacle. Michelangelo table. Permanent exhibition material
2023The Michelangelo table has 10 [uneven] legs and consists of two parts, which can be used separately. A tabernacle is shown on the table [as a fixed part]. A fragment of the 'Three Graces' from the painting La Primavera [Spring] by the Italian painter Botticelli has been painted on the tabernacle. [This table with tabernacle was made by me in 2004 but photographed in 2023] [For detailed photo of the tabernacle: see photo below.]

Bauhaus chair [front]
2019The chair is inspired by Bauhaus - which will be 100 years old in 2019 - but for the seating comfort I have made the back and seat a little more to the rounder forms of the body. Just like a garden chair, a cushion can be placed in it. In this way, the seat length for ladies is not too deep. [50/45 cm] The backrest can be adjusted to different positions at the back. [The various notches at the back of the armrest serve as the picture below, where the chair can be seen from the side.] For the realization of my bauhaus project you can click on: Monica Maat - 100 years BAUHAUS in 2019

Music furniture [Geometric, Bauhaus and De Stijl]
2020Music furniture derived from Bauhaus and De Stijl. The furniture was previously designed, but ultimately made for my own use. All kinds of [music] documentation can be stored in the cabinets. The whole is on wheels so that the furniture can be easily pulled forward.
