GRAPHIC DESIGN AND POETRY. Monica provides graphic design for poems, book covers, posters, cards, flyers, brochures and billboards. She also handles the layout of poetry collections. She is a poet and was for several years associated with De Dijkdichters Flevoland and with the Dichtersgroep Woerden poetry group. ASSIGNMENTS: Monica creates such designs on commission. WINTERREISE - Music book [cover design]
2026WINTERREISE is a musical theater performance by the Gitaartheater, consisting of the Anido Gitaarduo and Gerard Zuyderhoff. They have transformed the piece from piano to guitar and from sung to spoken word. Winterreise is a well-known song cycle by Schubert in which a man is rejected by the wealthy family of his beloved. Displaced and lonely, he journeys on foot into the winter. The Anido Gitaarduo has been performing in Europe, South America, and Asia since 1995. The cover of the music book Winterreise was designed by Monica. Published by d'OZ productions, Québec, Canada.

2025The CD Cover FROZEN TEARS was designed by Monica. It is a musical theater performance by The Anido Guitar Duo [two guitars] and Gerard Zuyderhoff [speaking voice]. Composed by composer Annette Kruisbrink. They transformed Schubert's Winterreise from piano to guitars and from sung to spoken. Winterreise is a well-known song cycle by Franz Schubert. In the cycle, a man is rejected by the wealthy family of his beloved. Displaced and lonely, he sets out into the winter on foot out of desperation.

Poem GAZA
2024Beeldendkunstenaar Yvonne van Oirschot- van de Wiel woont in Amsterdam in de Jordaan, waar ze een atelier en winkel heeft en haar kunstwerken tentoonstelt. Haar site laat zien wat ze maakt en heeft interessante pagina's waar je kunt lezen wat haar bezig houdt. Bijvoorbeeld op haar pagina onder het kopje: 2024, zag ik bovenstaand schilderij met als thema: oorlog. Bij dit schilderij heb ik een gedicht geschreven. Behalve op haar site heeft Yvonne dit gedicht nu ook in haar etalage gezet waar het gelezen en zelfs gefotografeerd wordt.
