The CD Cover FROZEN TEARS was designed by Monica. It is a musical theater performance by The Anido Guitar Duo [two guitars] and Gerard Zuyderhoff [speaking voice]. Composed by composer Annette Kruisbrink. They transformed Schubert's Winterreise from piano to guitars and from sung to spoken. Winterreise is a well-known song cycle by Franz Schubert. In the cycle, a man is rejected by the wealthy family of his beloved. Displaced and lonely, he sets out into the winter on foot out of desperation.
