Monica Maat

WINTERREISE is a musical theater performance by the Gitaartheater, consisting of the Anido Gitaarduo and Gerard Zuyderhoff. They have transformed the piece from piano to guitar and from sung to spoken word. Winterreise is a well-known song cycle by Schubert in which a man is rejected by the wealthy family of his beloved. Displaced and lonely, he journeys on foot into the winter. The Anido Gitaarduo has been performing in Europe, South America, and Asia since 1995.
